Private Tai Chi Qigong Lesson

Whether you are a complete beginner or have trained for years you can benefit from a private Tai Chi Qigong session.

You may have  physical discomfort and would like some personal instruction before you attend a regular class.

You may have had a change of work hours or have family commitments so can't get to the current class times.

You may just want 'one to one' tuition to work on your Tai Chi Qigong. I can help you to move in better alignment, to open up your meridians and to help the chi flow, which will also benefit your physical body.

It can be daunting walking into a class for the first time but after a  private session many people feel more confident.

Whatever your reason....

With Debbie & held at our Hinckley Tai Chi Studio.
Please bring clean indoor shoes or socks to change into as we have a 'no outdoor shoes' policy at our studio.

You may wish to attend these classes if you can answer 'yes' to any of the following:
You have not exercised for a long time
You are recovering from an illness or devastating life event
You struggle to exercise or manage normal daily life activities due to back, joint, knee, hip, shoulder or other joint discomfort.
You feel unable to cope with an hour class of any description.
You may need to sit for part or all of the session but would like a session that allows you to develop and grow at your own pace and doesn't restrict you to be seated when you may feel stronger occasionally and wish to do more.

You would like to improve your physical, emotional and mental health.

You would like to explore the physical, meditation, energetic and spiritual aspects of this health art.

Drawing on Eastern physiotherapy and relaxation techniques, as well as my deep understanding of posture and body alignment, in these classes I aim to work with each individual, to help with their unique needs and help with physical or emotional discomfort.

Many common back, shoulder, hip, and knee discomfort can be caused or worsened by the way that we move, stand, walk and sit. Weak leg and body muscles can put excessive pressure on our skeleton structure, joints, spine and even seemingly unrelated areas such as breathing or digestion.

I apply my knowledge of Tai Chi Qigong, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Tuina and Acupressure, and other techniques gained by more than 20 years of experience working in this field.
