Setting aside a few minutes for Restorative Qigong every day will bring about gradual and gentle changes, which may boost your mood, ease your body and calm your mind. These gentle movements can be done standing or sitting. You don’t have to do them all at once or all together. Pick your favourite Preparation or Qigong movement and enjoy that one every day until you feel ready to do more.

New Way Tai Chi Form Video

New Way Tai Chi Form_edited_edited.jpg

The New Way Form

A demonstration, with prompts of Steps 1 to 50

This version has been slightly adapted, to make this lovely flowing Form more accessible for most ages and abilities. For example, we have removed some the complicated twists & turns and will step in a steady 'hip width' instead and a movement which requires a 'kick' in the traditional Form will be seen as the foot remaining on the floor, meaning that practitioners of both version can enjoy a session side by side. This should not be regarded as a step by step instruction but as a reminder, in general terms, of this Form. This video is 8 minutes

Detox & Uplift Six Steps Qigong Video

The Six Steps Qigong m & d_edited.jpg

Six Steps Qigong Set  - 2 Videos

Designed to improve well-being as well as taking the body through a gentle detoxification process. The 6 movements work and support each organ, in Traditional Chinese Medicine terms, to help to improve efficiency. Lungs may breath deeper, the digestive system may function more efficiently. Other areas such as the reproductive system, may become more balanced through all stages of the life cycle. Skin may begin to glow and the eyes sparkle.

Having only 6 movements, it is easy to remember and can be completed when time is limited.

The six movements can be practiced and enjoyed individually.

Ideally practice every day or minimum 3 times a week

Video 1: 45 Minutes of a whole Six Steps Qigong session, with Debbie. The first part of the session is to ease, prepare and learn a little. The second part offers the Six Steps Qigong Movements to follow and enjoy. Debbie provides gentle prompts through this part with very quiet music

Video 2.: This video is 14 minutes long and only delivers the Six Steps Qigong Movements. Mark is doing the standing version and Debbie is sitting down, offering you options in case you are not strong enough or well enough to stand at any time.
